Next morning we got packed up and said our goodbyes to Helen and then Rab after he dropped us off at the Haddenham and Thame train station near Aylesbury.
We then had 3 trains to get to Somerset via Oxford and Reading. It all went very smoothly as the trains were very quiet – very unusual! I’m afraid we didn’t have time to leave the stations to see anything of the towns.
We arrived at my brother Grant and sister in law Anne’s place in Wellington Somerset in warm sunshine. Grant welcomed us – and Anne and my Mum arrived home soon after – Mum had just flown down from Scotland to see us all.
We had G&Ts and beer sitting outside on the new outdoor lounge setting – needing an umbrella to shade us from the sun – but hoping this weather continues!

We had a lovely dinner thanks to Grant’s expert cooking – Chicken Stroganoff – maybe a new recipe for the motorhome?!?!?!
We then watched the Eurovision Song Contest final – or part of it as most of us were nodding off on the sofa.
