We left the lovely spot at Ljubljana Resort campsite with hot bureks stashed ready for lunch later with Sean and Lisa.
We enjoyed more beautiful scenery on the way to Saksida camping and winery near Novo Goriska on the west side of Slovenia.

We arrived just before lunchtime and found Lisa and Sean in the pool. We then got set up in the vineyard right beside the vines and then had a cooling swim in the small pool. It was definitely cool water but ok once you were in. We then enjoyed our Slovenian bureks – flaky pastry spirals of 4 types: meat, cheese, spinach and potato. They were enjoyed by all.
It was hot with little shade so we then retired to read for a while under our awnings.

Glenn got a new pet beetle that stayed on his finger for about an hour. He was very sad to put him on a vine leaf.

When it cooled down a little Sean went for a 47 km bike ride. We only went for another swim when he got back.
We had a lovely evening in the vineyard catching up on our trips so far and cooking on both our barbecues.

We had some Maister beers that we bought yesterday then some wines we had bought elsewhere.
We enjoyed dinner and it was soon dark. We got the washing up done around 10pm when everyone was going to bed and it was very quiet. That was the sign we had to follow them so off we went.
