It was hot so we had a quiet morning relaxing in the shade beside the vans. The others had been kept awake by French teenagers talking loudly in the toilets area until 3am so were a bit tired.

Sean cycled down the hill to Izola town to buy food. As he is a keen cyclist he is the fittest to get back up the big hill!

After lunch we went to investigate the quiet Bele Skale beach at the bottom of the cliff from us. The small path is very steep with some steps. It’s a long way down.

The path is shaded so we found it not too bad.

Once down there the beach is beautiful with rounded pebbles to sit on. The water is very clear – good for snorkeling.

It was quite busy with other holiday makers from the campsite and hotel. We enjoyed swimming and reading. It was starting to get a bit cloudy so we made our way back up the hill – the climb was not too tough.

We had showers and watched storms with lots of rain work their way up the other side of the bay. We took down the awnings as a precaution but were lucky to have only a small amount of thunder and lightning and rain. It was soon back to normal.

Sean made a good curry for dinner and then we played the 5 Crowns card game. Again the lead swung back and forward with some big blow outs with Lisa being the eventual winner.

Several complaints had been made about the French teenagers and they had been talked to about their behaviour. We went to bed hoping they wouldn’t be back that night – and they were. Lisa phoned reception who sent a security person who talked to them and moved them on. Not only that a few also turned up at 6am bouncing a ball and talking loudly. They left quickly after I shouted at them. I think they are so self-focused they don’t understand they are annoying people. We are hoping they will be leaving today.
