We got packed up and arranged to meet in Lidl in Koper. Lisa and Sean tried to get LPG gas but Slovenia doesn’t seem to have the right gas or fittings.

We both did our Lidl shop and then we went to Decathlon to buy things to upgrade our bike gear – tyres, tubes and helmets. All very exciting.

We then all drove the 10km to just inside Italy to get lpg gas. We were all successful! We then had to say goodbye until October as Lisa and Sean are heading north and we are heading south to Croatia.

We drove back into Slovenia and then on into Croatia – 3 countries in 1 day!

We stayed overnight at a campsite in Porec. We got the location next to the reception since we booked only a few days before and we are staying here for 1 night only. It’s unfortunately a bit noisy as the kids all congregate around the pool table and create a racket.

We went for a bike ride to check out the beaches nearby. They were all pebbles as usual.

However there was a storm on the way so we didn’t stay out for long. We got back to Gus just as the rain was starting.

It didn’t last too long and left a lovely rainbow over Gus.
