Gus’s engine was definitely leaking coolant so we said goodbye to Aileen and headed north to Forfar. We left the van at the garage who could fix it that afternoon and went looking for lunch and shelter from the cold wind. We went back to Saddlers for Forfar bridies – it’s a bit like Groundhog Day.

Sean and Lisa had their washing done in Dundee and soon arrived in Forfar. We did the famous downtown spots including the top of the castle, Forfar cross and the bridie shops. We then did more important spots of the old David Irons hardware, charity shops, Home Bargains and the fabulous Factory Shop. Everyone came away with some treasure.

Lisa couldn’t resist taking these photos.

We then went to pick up Gus who was now properly fixed.

We parked up near Mum’s house and invaded hers to get Lisa’s clothes dry and cook curry. We had a nice cosy evening having dinner and drinks and then went off to the vans to sleep.
