We had a late start and a bit of tidying up and organizing Gus before we went out for lunch.

Fiona drove us and Helen out to the Black Boy pub in Oving. The Black Boy building is from 1524 and the name refers to the swarthy Charles II when he was in hiding.

We had very delicious roast dinners – they were huge with very big Yorkshire puddings. Very good for a traditional English lunch.

Afterwards Fiona dropped myself and Glenn off at Waddesdon where we worked off lunch by walking 4km along the greenway back to Helen’s. The greenway follows the line of a Roman Road.

It was very peaceful walking along in the sunshine away from traffic.

We saw a hot air balloon in the distance.

We soon were back at Helen’s and finished packing up ready for our departure the next day.

    Farewell lunch. Appropriate. Looks hearty.
