We got up late and we were a bit shabby after our big 7 course dinner with wine. We needed a refreshing swim to get us going. The boys led the way.

Lisa and I paid the bill and surveyed the scene of the dinner – now very tranquil.

We got packed up and left the campsite, saying goodbye to the goats having a great time in the field on the way out.

We first had to go to the hardware shop to get some silicon to stabilise Lisa and Sean’s shower base that is cracking. It was a large hardware for Slovenia so we had a good look round. It’s like being in a candy shop for Glenn. After purchasing a few things we then drove the short distance to our new campsite – Kamp David in the Vipava Valley. There is lots of cycling and wine tasting to be done here – including at the reception in the evening.

However when we arrived the weather was very rainy and the reception was closed so we had lunch and waited.

We were given our pitches when the reception opened at 3pm and we got set up. We are in the middle of vineyards again. There is also a herb garden to use.

Sean and Glenn went onto fixing the shower base while I investigated bike routes and Lisa got up to date on instagram. I also did a bit of juggling practice which is supposed to be good for creating new neurons in the brain. I don’t think it’s working yet.

The weather cleared up a bit so we could enjoy having dinner outside.

We had a nice early to bed and quiet night.
